7.0 Chief Steward Report – J. Faranda
7.1 Dec 12, 20, 27 – Worked with O/P member on possible grievance, received same and conferred by phone with grievants.
7.2 Dec 28 – Working on problem of TG-3 doing TG-4 work at lower pay rate.
7.3 Dec 27, Jan 2, 3 – 3 calls to manager Lockwood to get notification signed and set up meeting.
7.4 Jan 4 – Company will pay TG-3 higher pay when doing TG-4 work.
7.5 Jan 7, 8 – Conference calls with member in LNS and INCS Mgr J. Visicelli on W/E coverage.
7.6 Jan 9, 10, 11 – Met with grievant; met with INCS group about mgt. watching Tkts; Received info requested from company for grievance prep.
7.7 Jan 15, 17, 24, 30 – Various meetings, phone calls, etc. about the future of the INCS group in NY.
7.8 Jan 25, 28, 29, Feb 4, 5 – Various meetings with members on INCS problems.
7.9 Jan 23, 30, Feb 6, 8 13, 14, 19 – Phone calls, meetings etc. with several AT&T Managers on INCS’ future,

7.11 Feb 11 - Grievance meeting with INCS Management, conference call on White Plains doing NYC work.

8.1 Jan 31 – Filed NLRB charges for grievances 001993, 94 & 95.
8.2 Feb 20 – Grievance meeting in Middletown, # 002006, with stewards Giordani and Negron.

9.0 Area Director Report – G. Laughlin
9.1 Jan 10 – Alliance statewide meeting in Somerset, NJ.
9.2 Jan 15 – Set up NET+ classes with the Alliance and the vender, Eliasson Group.
9.3 Jan 23 – Holiday celebration in Middletown, NJ.
9.4 Jan 25 – Received shipment of laptops for Alliance classes in Dayton, NJ.
9.5 Feb 7 – Alliance statewide meeting in Somerset, NJ.
9.6 Feb 8 - Held a “Turbo Tax Deluxe” course in Dayton, NJ.
9.7 Feb 15 – Met with instructors from Elliasson Group to set up equipment.
9.8 Feb 22 – NJ LPAC meeting at Rutgers, New Brunswick, NJ.
9.9 Feb 23 – First 2 classes of 10 students each on NET+ held in Dayton, NJ.

10 .0 Area Director Report - D. Duffy
10.1 Worked with member on problem with dental coverage.
10.2 Assisted 2 members on disability with payment problems. Procedure differs in NY and NJ.
10.3 Attempted to set up “Turbo Tax” class but had to cancel when problem with office coverage occurred.
10.4 Met with Zayac on various problems in INCS, including movement of work to White Plains, lack of contracts with new customers, etc.
10.5 Spoke with member sinterested in TQT class and test and contacted Alliance setting up classes.

11.0 Old Business
11.1 Swanson distributed copies of the audit report and LM-3 and IRS 990
forms.
11.2 Board discussed proposed changes to LNS Metro O/T agreement as suggested
by management. Motion to approve by Swanson, second, Laughlin, carried.
12.0 New Business
12.1 Brett has organizing leads for a company in Rutherford, NJ and 60 AT&T
employees in NJ.
12.2 Board discussed whether to continue relationship with Eastern Dental and ULICO
